How to participate?
Record
Make a recording of the pieces you want to present at the competition.

Upload your recording to YouTube or other similar video platforms
Apply
Apply for the competition by filling in our online application form. Include links to your recordings.
A number of opportunities
THE COMPETITION IS DIVIDED INTO TWO STAGES
A preliminary round and a final round. Participation in the preliminary round is always free of charge. After the deadline, the jury listens to all the entries and chooses who gets to the final round. It is your decision whether or not to take part in the final. All finalists will be rewarded.
Participating in the final round will give you global exposure and opportunities for promotion, interviews, concerts and career development. Every Finalist will receive a diploma confirming their participation in the BIMC. In each category and age group, we also expect to award many prizes.
TIMEFRAME:
- Entries will be accepted until 25 January 2025.
- Preliminary Round: 26-28 January
- Notification of the results: 29 January
- Acceptance of entries for the Final Round: 29 January – 2 February
- Final round: 3-8 February
- Results of the Final Round: Sunday, 9 February 2025
